The Mischief Maker

To which child would you grant the title of 'Mischief Maker'?

(At first I had captions for each picture, but that would be swaying your opinion. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.)

So, what do you think?

PECK'S BAD BOY!

AGREED?

I love this little rascal even though he's such a skootch!

  1. Loved your post with your adorable g/children Eileen...they are at the same age as my g/children were...cousins Grant and Katie... when it became apparent the mischief maker of them when at play...was our Katie...They became very close over the years!...Now 16yrs. old.

I love the photo of sweet innocent Mia looking
up at a guilty but cute looking Jayden!

    Smile and take care Eileen!

  2. Hmmm...I have to say that I did notice a definite twinkle of mischief in Mia's little eyes while looking up from her little cup. Jayden may hold the top prize now, but Mia has a lot of potential shining through her adorableness! They are so cute, Eileen, how can you stop yourself from just smooching the living daylights out of them??

    blessings and hugs,
    marcy

  3. Thanks, Wanda, for sharing, I can see already that Jayden and Mia are going to be good friends. He's not so jealous of her anymore, and they do play nice together now. She really adores him.
But it's like he just can't help himself! He can't see her sitting nice, minding her own business without having to bother her a little! Or me for that matter!
That first photo I asked who had pulled apart the couch cushions and he's whispering to Mia to say she did it! Then he gives that sweet innocent angelic smile!

  4. I do enjoy them, Marcy, even though they wear me out! But they really are both good, and they really do listen (MOST of the time!). In the picture where Jayden is drinking from the little cup, I thought he had poured water into it from the water bottle, but after I snapped the picture I saw him filling that cup by standing under the awning that was dripping with stored up rain water! Yuck!

I wish I had some of his antics recorded.

  5. Couldn't help myself...I had to come back and re- look and enlarge and just enjoy these precious photos you took! LOVE them! Love MIa's little hand on yours as Jayden tries to tickle you or put a bug down your back (now, that's a creepy thought)or whatever.

    Who took the last picture?

    blessings with hugs,

    marcy

  6. Uh that prize would go to Jayden, hands down. There is obvious mischief in those eyes which appear to be directly related to his grandmothers eyes! However I also noticed a twinkle of it in Mia's too!

  7. Marcy, my daughter-in-law Lori (Mia's Mommy) took that last picture and the ones of Mia in the chair getting a kick out of Jayden.
And he was playing 'hair cutter' with me in the last picture and the more I told him that it was hurting the harder he tried pulling my hair! He thought it was hilarious. Mia was trying to rescue me, "Come on, Grandma, run away!"

  8. You got it, Diana! And you are right about Mia too, she can hold her own! And she's got a very stubborn streak in her too. I think she takes after me!

  9. Awe, they are both so cute and sweet. Little boys always love to bug the girls, even when they get big they still like to tease. They look like brother and sister, and I am sure they will end up being real close buddies! I loved the photos, Jayden is hands down the mischief maker though...at least it appears that way...you know what they say about appearances though. Nothing is what it seems... : )

  10. I agreed with Marcy about the cute little face on Mia looking up holding the cup...But then when I saw Jayden's little hand reaching through the chair..I changed my mind. They are both little darlings!! I bet you can't get much done when they're around. You'd be wanting to sit and cuddle and give hugs and kisses...I can't wait to have some grandbabies of my own :)
    Love, Jerelene

  11. Is it Umma who is the mischief maker? ;)

  12. Thanks, Jerelene, they are both really sweet. And really well behaved, I can't complain.
And being a 'Grandma' is the best!

  13. Ann, I busted out laughing at your comment! And you are right, I am the biggest mischief maker! I guess Jayden comes by it honestly!

  14. Teresa, now how did I miss your comment?? I think I'm losing it here, I did that yesterday with Carol too!
I agree nothing is what it seems sometimes!
And at first I had my doubts about them ever being friends, I kept hoping and praying that Jayden would get over his jealousy and it seems he has! It is lots of fun to watch the two of them together now, and to hear Mia calling for him all the time. Does my heart good!

  15. Eileen. oh your grandchildren are beautiful, they look a lot alike. I think they both are their own little person and probably both can be michevous.....as well as really good. You are so blessed to have them live near you and be such an important part of your life, and you of their's. I love this kind of post.
    .....:-) Hugs
