Villagers Real Life Honest Food Game

Okay, Teresa @ Do The Write Thing read about an exercise that makes you aware of what you are eating. The idea is not only to keep a food diary by writing down what you eat, but to also take a picture of what you are going to eat. I think by the end of the week you are supposed to want to change your eating habits, or rather be more motivated to change your eating habits.
We'll see.

I said I'd be honest, so here goes:

Breakfast: (somewhere between 7:00 and 8:00 AM) ~ A cup of Life cereal and a mug of coffee with French Vanilla flavor.

10:30 AM: A mug of coffee with French Vanilla Flavor.

12:00 Noon: Grilled Chicken and Broccoli.

12:30 PM: Hershey's boxed chocolate drink.

2:00 PM: Starbuck's Java Chip Frappacchino ice cream cup.

3:00 PM: A bowl of Pirate's Booty (caramel flavored).

7:00 PM: Just got back from cleaning my Aunt's apartment next door, too tired to make anything good to eat! Cinnabon bar and a cup of coffee with french vanilla flavor.

I don't think I'll be eating anymore tonight, I'm too tired and I'm going up to bed early! I have a lot of running around to do tomorrow.
Let's see if that curtails my eating!
Who else is posting this? Am I the only one?

  1. Hello Eileen...I see you had some chocolate too today...I noticed the plate your Chicken and broccoli were on...you're right, we have the same ones. I can't drink coffee past 3 in the afternoon...or I can't sleep...how do you do it? I'm going to be...see you tomorrow!

  2. Well Eileen,
That was not bad at all! I think you hardly ate anything. You sound really tired. I hope you feel better tommorrow. Thanks for being such a sport, I found this really tough to do, and to actually look at...did you? It made me sad that I made such bad choices. Have a good night.
    ((((hugs))))) T

  3. Hi Eileen, I ate more than you did today and I was blocked from my kitchen and fridge! I hate to see what tomorrow may bring. I posted my supper picture but didn't take pictures of my breakfast, will try and remember to do it tomorrow.
Where is Miss Marcy? I miss her when she doesn't post, hope all is okay with her.
Sleep well my friend as you do sound tired.
    Luv you.......:-) Hugs

  4. An interesting concept. I really don't need to take pictures of what I eat though, you took them already. I drink tea though not coffee. Thanks for the walk through my diet yesterday! :) Cathy

  5. What is pirates booty? A cereal? Too many carbs and where are the veggies? Where the heck is Marcy? She's supposed to be the police not me. Perhaps I will have to write her up! Or perhaps she is sitting at home eating too many carbs as well! Add whole grains, and veggies , thats an order. When I come back tomorrow I better see some broccoli or a salad on one of those plates!

  7. I agree with everybody else...Both you and Teresa did not eat much yesterday...Diana is going to critique our meals I guess...and where is Marcy?

  8. I don't know where the heck Marcy is, she does this 'disappearing act' every once in awhile trying to give us all heart attacks!
We'll have to reprimand her when she returns if she doesn't have a good excuse!

Oh, and I eat PLENTY except when I'm busy, and today is a busy day so I hope I can skip some meals/snacks.
Di, I don't like veggies or fruit much at all, if it's right in front of me I'll usually eat it, but I don't go out of my way for it. I had the broccoli yesterday only because I had Mia and she asked for it! Otherwise it would have been chicken and bread. I'm a carb addict, as you'll see!
I'm running out, I'll see everyone later!

  10. Hi again Eileen,
Lets try to get some fruit and veggies in today, and I can not believe that the other villagers think we do not eat enough. Well I am going to try very hard to do better today...food Pyramid, here I come...Where is Marcy, do you think she may have eaten a little WD40 like you predicted? ((((hugs)))) T AKA 555

  11. Katie is a carbaholic unless I make a huge salad with chicken and broccoli and cheese on it. Then she will eat it. But if I don't make it and put it in front of her she would never do it herself. Same with the fruit. I would eat all fruits and veggies if I could afford them! Unfortunately it's cheaper to but a bag of chips or a box of mac and cheese than it is to buy a bag of apples! That is disgusting. And then they wonder why American's are so over weight! Love Di

  12. Diana, I SO agree! When Ray and I shop, if we load the cart with 'junk food' it is so much cheaper than when we load the carts with meat, salad fixings, fresh fruits and fresh vegetables! It is MUCH cheaper to eat unhealthy! (And in my opinion it's also tastier!)
I guess we should all be like Jerelene and grow our own! (Except I have like almost NO property for a garden to grow!)
    Love you, E

  13. You are being a GOOD player...you're posting photos...I am such a chicken that I posted mine on Teresa's blog!!! :))) No photos....just the stuffin's that this pig called Jackie ate....
I think that potato chips should rule the food pyramid!!!
    Smiles,
    Jackie
