Sophie's Baptism

I've been away from blogging so long, and we've been so busy with home improvement projects and I almost forgot to post about a most important date!

Sophie Gianna was Baptized on July 24, 2011:

Lori's Mom, Virginia, greets Sophie after the ceremony:

Here's proud big sister Mia!

Jayden and Ellie
(Ellie had the honor of being Sophie's Godmother and she is also Jayden's Godmother):

The happy family enjoying the party afterwards:

Our oldest son Brian (he's stealing the bread plate from another table here!) & his fiancee Flora:

My smiling niece Jill, and her husband Rudy, and my niece Erika watching Rudy be, well, 'be Rudy' as usual!
(And so sorry that my nephew Mikael's head got chopped off, but that's him in the background taking back the bread plate that Brian stole from them!):

My Aunt Florence and my cousin Laura:

My niece Erin and George:

Great-nephew Jamesy Boy and Jayden:

Jamesy Boys' parents, my niece Rebecca and her husband Jimmy:

My niece Rachel and her boyfriend Mike:
(Rachel and Rebecca are sisters [daughters to my sister Marybeth])

Ray's sister Susie and her husband Doug:

Ray and his brother Donald:

My sister-in-law Eileen and Ray's Mom Helena:

Some of the "girls"! (Ann, myself, Marybeth, and Diane):

Proud parents (our son Erik holding Sophie & our daughter-in-law Lori holding Mia) and Godparents (our youngest daughter Ellie and our youngest son Andrew):

Sophie actually cried during the Baptism service, but by the end of the night the guest of honor was all smiles!

(It was a big crowd at the celebration and I have tons more family and photos I could show you, but if I posted them all we'd be here for days!)

  1. What a beautiful occasion. I enjoyed "meeting" the fam!

I didn't comment on your previous post - closet turned bedroom, but again, "kudos" to Ray. I like the color scheme, Eileen.

Your house is a very busy house, these days. Praying for peace and calm and for love to continue to bubble over everyone!

  6. Her name is almost as beautiful as she is...Sophie Gianna....I love it! I enjoyed seeing all the pictures of family who all came to witness this special day.

I do have a question though...Jamesy Boy is a nick name right? Makes me smile.
