Blessed Sunday

I'm posting this for my friends that are going through some tough times, especially my friend Lidj who is bearing the heavy burden of her fellow countrymen in the Philippines. I read her pain and I know the heavy heart she carries seeing first-hand the havoc and the devastation left behind by the typhoons, floods, and mudslides. I ask you to please add Lidj and all those suffering in much the same way to your prayers.
Also, please remember our friend Linda as she recovers from surgery.

And many bloggers were asking for prayers for their friend Janine who also has undergone surgery, and as she bravely continues her crusade to move forward with each new twist and turn along life's road, I add my prayers to theirs, and I ask anyone reading here to offer a prayer for Janine. God, give her Your strength. God, give her Your peace.

There are so many in need, as I visit blogs I read so many anxious prayer requests. Please remember all those who are in a battle with a disease, each praying for more time, desperately seeking one more year, one more month, one day, one hour more spent with loved ones. And pray for those who stand side by side with them in that battle, fear gripping every fiber of their being at the thought of losing their special someone.
Many people dear to my heart carry burdens that weigh down their own hearts. Please remember all those who are dealing with financial burdens, and those dealing with medical issues and emotional trials, please remember those whose mental anguish has brought them to despair.
And please pray for those who are suffering the loss of those near and dear to them through death.
Let's pray that God's Peace be upon them all.
Please also remember our brave military who are away from their families, and who are putting life, limb, and sanity on the line so that others may live free.

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ~ Isaiah 40:31

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY

  3. Oh, Eileen, I will add these names to my prayer list of those in need...you're right, there are so many, fighting for every breath...my heart goes out to each of them. They do need our prayers, because we know we have a living God that heals and cares about each and every battle we face. I pray that He is sitting beside each one, that He is fighting along side our soldiers, that He is standing next the doctor performing surgery...He is in the midst of His people. I am joining you in your prayer, so beautifully presented to God for your friends and loved ones. May all of us continue to pray til we see the miracles we ask for, and one miracle that we can always expect is the peace of God.

Bless you, Eileen, and your precious family, and may God watch over each of you.

    Mary

  12. Thank you all so much for your comments, and more, thank you for your prayers.
And I join you all today in your prayer requests, and I am especially mindful of Marcy's post of Prayers for Peace today.

We're still away and I'm using Ray's laptop, and I can't get used to his weird little keyboard so I am not commenting much, and there are some blogs I don't have access to for some reason.

We are on our way out the door again, I will try to read everyone tonight.

Janine, thank you for your visit and I hope you are doing well. God Be with you.

    Miss you all!
My best wishes to you all!
    Love to you all!

    Eileen
