Ray boarded a train at lunch time yesterday on his way to Toys R Us so he could pick up a little something for Jayden being he was still home sick from school. When he walked into the subway car this is what he saw:
He snapped a picture with his cell phone and sent it to me. I was looking online trying to find out what it was all about but I came up empty. I thought it might have something to do with the butterfly display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Then I noticed that the poster behind the seat on the subway said something about Adelphi University. And Ray found this online:
March 28, 2011 - by Lori - Last Friday, the NYC subway shuttle from Grand Central to Times Square was transformed. Adelphi University wrapped the shuttle in our new ad campaign "Success" transforming the train into a forest, a bog, and a field. With the winter we have had in NYC, the shuttle offers a glimpse of spring and demonstrates the power of change and transformation. Please let us know if you saw the AU train and what you think.
I think it's wonderful!

Now, that is truly neat! Leave it to New Yorkers to come up with something this clever.
ReplyDeleteXO,

What impressed me right away is that Ray wanted to share something really cool with you right away and took the photo and sent it to you. It is a spring look and what a great place to spruce up.
