Just a few weeks ago this was the sight I saw looking out my front porch windows:
But someone didn't mind it at all!
Not too many days later, this was a much more welcome sight to my eyes:
And this little man came running into the house, all excited...
... to show us this:
It's Been A While

As hard as I try, I just cannot really imagine looking out my window and seeing snow. What a contrast between that and Spring.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're still playing Danny Boy here. I just love it.
It has been Spring like here as well. Jayden is growing so fast.....big hugs to him and Mia from your friend.....:-) Hugs
ReplyDeleteIt's 'raining' Spring here at home today, Eileen and I'm happy too, that it's not snow! I like winter, but expect it to leave by March. I saw my first Bluebird of Spring this morning! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like cute Jayden is preparing to throw a snowball at his uncle, he may miss that part of winter though.

To see the excitement in a child's eyes is wondrous indeed. It warms my heart that a young person would be joyous about the blossoms breaking through.
ReplyDeleteHI EILEEN-
ReplyDeleteHappy rainy Saturday/ :-) Great pictures of then and now and of course always beautiful then, now and forever are children, happy and safe.
Love to you

Look at that precious, sweet smile! So excited to show you the beautiful flowers!:) I love that you are having Spring weather, dear friend. We are having a bit here, too, although today they are saying a chance of snow??!! WE'll see... I like snow, too.:) Big Hugs! Lori
ReplyDeleteAww how pretty! I think Jayden is changing Eileen, I can see it in his last photo. Don't you think we are all ready for spring? We just had a new central air unit put in so we are ready for summer! Love You, Di ♥
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Spring Sighting!!! Jayden is so observant!! Love that expression, too! What a great kid! You must be so proud of him! Hope you have many more sunny, Spring days this week! Love you, Janine XO
ReplyDeleteOH that is so fun! Jayden has the most beautiful eyes! He is going to be a little heart throbber in about.....10 year! watch out! Don't you just love Spring!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing more beautiful than the yellow flower are Jayden's eyes!
ReplyDeleteI, too, am thankful for signs of spring - although I have yet to actually see a blossom/flower in our yard....
LOL Kids don't care what kind of weather we are having. They just want to have fun. I am so happy to see signs of spring in my area. We were lucky because we didn't have a bad winter at all but I still just want to throw those windows open :>)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely contrast in the pictures you posted! And what lovely orange flowers, indeed a striking contrast to the bed of brown grass around it.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos!
